Beneficiaries

We believe that our children are our future, and we're backing that belief with money. A portion of every sale is contributed directly to the continued education of our benefitting college students.

Our first and current beneficiary is Serene Chong. Serene is pursuing a masters program in Computer Science at the University of San Francisco. She is specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. With this degree she hopes to contribute to significant advances the ways that humans work with computers.

After getting her bachelor's degree in 2001 at the age of 20, Serene spent the next 5 years working in the corporate sector as a software analyst and quality assurance engineer. Through this real-life experience Serene discovered a desire within herself to improve the ways that computers are commonly used in day-to-day life.

In addition to her academic studies, Serene is an amatuer photographer and a licensed diver. As a diver, Serene has enjoyed the tropical waters of Phuket and Bali Islands.

"With photography," said Serene, "I am able to manipulate the meaning of an object. I get to create all kinds of visualizations... And I am enjoying the challenge of learning the art of photography."

We are proud to support the advanced education of individuals such as Serene.
